Neuroscan

The Neuroscan is a combination of two technologies: SEMG (surface electromylograph) and thermogragh. This technology was used by NASA and will change the way we monitor your chiropractic care. The nervous system is the master controller. Through the nervous system the body is self healing and self regulating. Stress on the nervous system will cause the body to function at less than 100%. There are three parts to the nervous system: #1 SENSORY-feeling pain and sensations (you can tell us about this part), #2 MOTOR- controls muscles and movements, and #3 AUTONOMIC- controls organs and internal processes. Our sensory nerves make up only 10% of our nervous system, what this means is that the other 90% of nervous system function you can't tell us about. We now have a technology that can tell us how your nervous system is functioning. SEMG measures motor nerve activity and thermograghy measures autonomic nerve activity. This is a BREAKTHROUGH in the chiropractic profession. This will allow us to gauge your progress, and objectively monitor your nervous system"s response to positives like chiropractic care, good nutrition, exercise and other healthy choices.
